We trace the roots of our practice to the 1930s when Dr. Francis Krugh of Homestead and a medical school graduate of the University of Pittsburgh became one of the first physicians trained in dermatology in the city of Pittsburgh. Dr. Krugh originally practiced dermatology in Oakland at the old Skin and Cancer Clinic. Dr. Krugh became one of the first specialist physicians to move his practice to the South Hills when he opened an office in Mt. Lebanon in the 1950s.
Dr. David Horvath joined Dr. Krugh, his father-in-law, in the practice of dermatology in the late 1970s. After Dr. Krugh retired, Dr. David Horvath led the practice for many years. He eventually was joined by his son, Dr. Brian Horvath, who has continued the family legacy of providing high quality and compassionate dermatology services to the South Hills and broader Pittsburgh community. Most recently, Dr. David Horvath and Dr. Brian Horvath have been joined by Lisa Sullivan, PA-C. Together these providers continue our tradition providing the highest quality dermatology services to families in our region.
