Horvath Dermatology Associates

Dr. David Horvath is board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing dermatology for over 40 years. His practice includes all aspects of medical dermatology, including skin cancer, moles, skin checks, rashes, psoriasis, and acne. He sees patients of all ages, including children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. A leading dermatologist in Pittsburgh, Dr. David is a past-president of the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology. In addition to his private practice, Dr. David is on the staff at St. Clair Hospital.

A graduate of North Allegheny High School, Dr. David attended the University of Notre Dame. He completed his MD at Temple University. He completed his Residency in Dermatology at the Medical College of Virginia, now Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond, Virginia. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

Dr. David lives in Mt. Lebanon. When he is not practicing dermatology, Dr. David enjoys golf, skiing, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his four grandchildren.

Brian Horvath, MD, MPH

Dr. Brian Horvath is a board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing dermatology for over 15 years. His practice includes all aspects of medical dermatology, including skin cancer, moles, skin checks, rashes, psoriasis, and acne. He sees patients of all ages, including children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Brian is on the staff at St. Clair Hospital.

A graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School, Dr. Brian received his Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. Dr. Brian completed his MD degree at Duke University. During medical school, he earned a Masters of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Brian subsequently completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a Residency in Dermatology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.

He has presented at national dermatology meetings and had scholarly works published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, the leading academic journal for dermatology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Brian has regularly appeared on local news television segments discussing issues in dermatology.

Dr. Brian lives in Mt. Lebanon. When he is not practicing dermatology, Dr. Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Gretchen Kreizenbeck, MD

Dr. Kreizenbeck has been a board-certified dermatologist since 2011, who has now practiced in Pittsburgh since 2014. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and Women’s Dermatologic Society.

Dr. Kreizenbeck was born and raised in the wild west of Deadwood, South Dakota. She worked multiple jobs every summer from hostess, busgirl, tour-guide, and waitress; she even bartended at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally to allow her to graduate summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry in 2003 from the University of Notre Dame. Upon graduation, she received both the University’s Merck Index and Student Leadership awards.


While a medical student at the Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Kreizenbeck completed her thesis in the field of melanoma. After accepting the Max Kade Clinical Clerkship, she studied in Salzburg, Austria and graduated in 2007 as a Yale Farr Scholar. She completed her internship at the Yale Primary Care Program and completed her residency in dermatology with the Yale Dermatology Residency Program in 2011.

Dr. Kreizenbeck continues to enjoy teaching… long ago as a college tutor for her fellow classmates, now working with her patients to develop healthy lifestyle choices if motivated. She has been a volunteer Faculty Member for the Washington Health System Family Medicine Residency Program since 2017. At two of her previous practices, she created the cosmetic divisions by developing the curriculum and teaching fellow staff the art and benefits of radiofrequency, IPL (intense pulsed light), injectables and lasers. She individually taught her cosmetic neurotoxin injection technique to a qualified physician associate. Dr. Kreizenbeck is also a public speaker, most recently at “A Day for Women” where she offered specific strategies and methods for mothers, daughters & all types of caregivers in prioritizing self-care.

Her specialties include cosmetic and medical dermatology; surgical excisions and other skin cancer treatment; and cosmetic procedures including Botox/Dysport, hyaluronic acid fillers (Restylane/Juvéderm), and energy-based treatments. She enjoys treating “the whole patient” and utilizing detective work to find the underlying root cause of skin conditions in adults and children. She has a special interest in vitamin and nutrition given her biochemistry background. She lives in Upper St. Clair with her husband, 2 children, and 2 cats.

Lisa Sullivan PA-C

Lisa Sullivan is a Certified Physician Assistant, who has been practicing dermatology for almost 10 years. Her practice includes all aspects of medical dermatology, including skin cancer, moles, skin checks, rashes, psoriasis, and acne. She sees patients of all ages, including children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. In addition to medical dermatology, Lisa practices cosmetic dermatology, including Botox injections.

A native of Buffalo, New York, Lisa graduated from Allegheny College, where she was the captain of the golf team. She completed her Physician Assistant degree at D’Youville College in New York.

She is a member of the Physician Assistant Society of Pennsylvania, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Lisa lives in McMurray.  When she is not practicing dermatology, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children.

Nina Bordick PA-C

Nina Bordick is a Certified Physician Assistant, who has been practicing dermatology since 2013. Her practice includes all aspects of medical dermatology, including skin cancer, moles, skin checks, rashes, psoriasis, and acne. She sees patients of all ages, including children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. In addition to medical dermatology, Nina practices cosmetic dermatology, including Botox injections.

A native of Lower Burrell, Nina graduated from Gannon University, where she also completed her Physician Assistant degree.

She is a member of the Physician Assistant Society of Pennsylvania, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Nina lives in Venetia. When she is not practicing dermatology, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and two dogs. She is an avid runner.
